Aamir Khan may have won the hearts of students as well as their teachers after directing Taare Zameen Par but the perfectionist actor is troubling college authorities in Bangalore. Aamir’s new hairstyle for the movie Ghajini has become the talk of the town. Saloons and parlours are jammed with college students who want the coolest hairstyle in the country.

The head of the colleges in the city are not impressed with the close cropped hairstyle and feel it looks bad on the students and brings down the reputation of the college. This has led to many institutions banning the new hair style. Aamir was amazed to know about this and wondered why a simple haircut was creating so much furore.

Mallika shot for the reality show Star Voice of India

Madame Mallika Sherawat surely knows how to draw maximum eyeballs, especially when her film release is around the corner. With Maan Gaye Mughall-e-Azam releasing this Friday, Mallika is leaving no stone unturned to publicize and promote the film.

Mallika shot for a special episode of the singing reality show Star Voice of India. Needless to say the participants and audience went hysterical seeing the diva herself. Mallika who plays ’Anarkali’ in the film had to choose her ’Salim’ and after watching everyone’s performances she chose Zakir as her ’Salim’ and even gifted him a ring. Needless to say he was maha-thrilled by her gesture. Mallika, who looked sizzling hot in a red dress, was even seen cheering judge Sukhwinder as he bogeyed.

London Dreams very expensive!

Enough of hearsay, here’s the first official confirmation... Singh Is Kinng is past. Vipul Shah has moved on. He’s all set to embark on his new venture, London Dreams. The film, as we all know by now, brings the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam combination of Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan after a hiatus.

One of the hottest projects without doubt, London Dreams has caught the fancy of a number of corporate entities, but the one to bag the rights is Indian Films, the same firm that acquired Singh Is Kinng for an astronomical amount. London Dreams too comes with a heavy price tag: Rs. 120 crores.

Vipul Shah makes his first official statement, "We’ve (Indian Films and Vipul) shook hands, only the paper work has to be completed." Earlier, Vipul’s Singh Is Kinng set the record of being the most expensive film. Now his next film has set the bar higher!

Kareena Kapoor’s latest Globus ad campaign has become such a hit that its excited makers are now planning to shoot the entire new campaign with her in Paris. It is learnt that her size zero look in Globus attire has had the Globus sales trippled.

The crew of Globus’ latest campaign with Kareena will be leaving for Paris in few days. What makes the campaign more interesting this time is that Kareena will have her make up done by Parisian make up artistes.

Kareena is very excited about the entire campaign and Paris too happens to be one of her favourite holiday destination. Friends of the actress informed that since Paris is known as the Mecca for Fashion industry she is more eager to shoot there. She is planning to do a lot of shopping since she will be getting an opportunity to be there for sometime.

Sources inform that Tashan no show at the box office has not made any difference to the actress. Already termed as the Czarina of Bollywood, the actress is looking forward to a great year ahead. She is looking forward to working with all the Khans. She has an item song with Shahrukh Khan in Billoo Barber, then there’s Karan Johar’s film with Saif Ali Khan and Mr and Mrs Khanna with Salman Khan.

Bips and Bebo make up at Saif’s birthday party

Now, this was a birthday party with some difference, considering the fact that it was a Bollywood birthday party but without fights and with patching up of old enemies. Yes, it was Saif Ali Khan’s birthday party at Four Seasons in Worli on August 16 where the long cold war between Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu seemed to come to an end.

The rift between Bips and Bebo has its roots at the sets of ‘Ajanabee’. It grew stronger as Kareena called John Abraham ‘expressionless’ on Karan Johar ’s show and Bipasha continuing with making an unflattering remark (she called Bebo an actress with ‘too many expressions’) about Kareena.

But this time Kareena herself took an initiative and personally invited Bipasha for the party. Bipasha was surprised to hear from Bebo and gladly accepted the invitation. At the party, the two girls took no time in breaking the ice and warming up. They simply got talking.

While the girls went for a friendship day, it was not the same for the guys. Though Saif had invited both Shahrukh and Salman, while SRK attended with wife Gauri, Arbaaz Khan made up for brother Salman’s absence.

Priyanka Chopra is about to do what no other Indian actress has ever done before, enact 12 different roles in 1 film.

According to a source, Priyanka will portray 12 roles, each of them characterising 12 different zodiac signs. This will be for Ashutosh Gowarikar’s next directorial What’s Your Rashee? The source adds, “Ashutosh hasn’t disclosed much on what he wants to do but as far as the talks are concerned, there’s a huge possibility that Priyanka Chopra will play 12 different characters in the film. Each one of them will have a trait that is associated with people belonging to a particular raashee.”

What’s Your Raashee? is inspired from US based Gujarati writer Madhu Rye’s novel Kimball Ravenswood in which the author creates a wide array of characters and sets up some devilishly comical plots through the novel.

Kareena Kapoor tour with her ex,present lovers

Kareena Kapoor’s ex- Shahid kapoor and current love, Saif Ali Khan will tour together this July for a worldwide entertainment show.

Kareena Kapoor’s current beau Saif Ali Khan and her ex boyfriend will share the stage for the Bachchan’s Unforgettable World Tour. The tour is supposed to kick off in July and will have Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan performing all across Europe and US.

Akshay Kumar who had earlier opted out of the tour will be performing in select cities. They will also perform on special songs composed by Vishal-Shekhar. Riteish Deshmukh and Bipasha Basu will also be a part of the tour

Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have apparently ironed out all differences and do not mind touring together.

Sherlyn Chopra wanted cameras even in bathrooms of the House

Actress and singer Sherlyn Chopra has been shown the door from ’Bigg Boss’ as she wanted cameras even in bathrooms of the House, so that she could flaunt her vast collection of colourful bikinis and inner wear while bathing.

That was one of the conditions that Sherlyn had, but she could not close the deal, as her two conditions could not be met on time.The other condition was that Sherlyn had asked for a sum of Rs 3 crore for her 3-month appearance in the ’Bigg Boss’ House.Since, after her first music album ’Outrageous’, her second album ’Dard-e-Sherlyn’ has also become a runaway success, she felt that only a decent price could keep her inside the House for a whole three months.

The practice of cameras in the bathrooms of such a reality show existed in UK’s ’Big Brother’ earlier, until Shilpa Shetty got the practice discontinued two years ago, with a clause in her contract stating it went against her ethics and culture. It is obvious, Sherlyn thinks otherwise.

But since ’Bigg Boss’ found her demands outrageous, she was out. "Right from the beginning of her career, Sherlyn has a very bold, outspoken, daring and sensational diva-like image. One can’t really blame her for thinking of her colourful bikinis, " quipped her publicist Dale Bhagwagar.

"Nowadays, everyone from Kareena Kapoor to Priyanka Chopra is being talked about for wearing bikinis in their movies. So why should we have double standards for reality shows? After all, they are just another medium of expression, " added Bhagwagar, who is also the publicist of Shilpa.
