His first film is yet to hit the screens, but Harman Baweja is already creating stirs and has become a hot favorite of the producers and directors. His latest achievement is that he has been chosen by ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his next period film ‘Chenab Gandhi’. The movie is a historic one and will also have Amitabh Bachchan playing Chenab Gandhi himself.

This offer comes on the heel of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s next, where he will be seen once again with Priyanka Chopra. With Harman’s ambitious ‘Love Sotry 2050’ releasing next Friday, the kid is really riding high these days!

Kim Sharma has slightly moved up the temperatures on sets of Kumar Mangat’s “Money Hain to Honey Hain“. Kim Sharma will be seen in the movie wearing two Piece Bikini in Maurities. No matter whether and how the temperature got hot in Maurities.

Bollywood hot actress Kim Sharma will be seen in bikini again but this time it will not be a photo shoot for any magazine. She has a bikini sequence in Mauritius for her upcoming film “Money Hai Toh Honey Hai”. She has shot a scene at beach in which she is wearing only two wet pieces. It is not at photo shoot as she had done with Maxim Magazine but the sequence itself is hot enough to catch any one’s eyes.

Kim is really looking hot and sexy wearing bikini top with mini skirt in cold water. She says, “Confident one should wear it with style and flair”.

Kamal Haasan thanks Shruthi Haasan

With the release of ‘Dasavathar’, the hard work put in by Kamal Haasan to do justice to all ten characters played by him is well known now. In an interview to the press recently, director K. S. Ravikumar talked about Kamal Haasan’s homework in terms of careful preparation and precise execution to get the roles sparkling.

Kamal Haasan said, ’Ten characters needed ten different people to help and assist me. My first daughter Shruti helped me fine tune the American accent and dialogue delivery for the baddie character, Fletcher’.’She spent some time in Los Angeles and has absorbed the way Americans talk. She was of great help to me. I just trusted her and she has indeed done a good job’, says the happy father.

Shruthi Haasan has signed on a Hindi project named ’Luck’ and will be working with the likes of Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty, Imraan Khan and Rati Agnihotri. The movie is to be directed by Soham Shah and is to be shot extensively in South Africa.

I’ve been constantly keeping my weight down. But I think Dad knows the other girls are looking very slim these days. It was his way of letting me know that I needed to get even thinner. Harman Baweja's celebration

Harman Baweja’s father Harry Baweja, celebrates his 53rd birthday today and on this D-day beta Harman has gifted him an emotional gift whose position in Harry’s eyes is much higher than his any other possessions. Harman has gifted his dada (as he calls his father) a poetic letter which he has written specially for him.

"I didn’t want to give dada materialistic things like a swanky car. He has given me a Rs. 50-crore film - Love Story 2050. I wanted to gift him something extremely personal. I have penned a long poem in English on paper on father’s journey in life - from his first birthday to now, his dreams and wishes. I will read it out to him first thing in the morning after wishing him," says Harman.

He collected the information from his daadi (Harry’s mother), mother Pammi and sister Rowena. Harman has penned down all his emotions and feelings for his father in words. He has also arranged a birthday party for him which will be attended by his family, friends, cousins, relatives and friends.

Playback singer Alisha thanking Aishwarya Rai

After her super hits "Kajra re" and "It’s rocking", playback singer Alisha Chinai is going places or so you’d like to believe. But she has another story to tell."Playback singers always get relegated to the sidelines. They continue to be underdogs of the music industry. We really need to be paid. I’ve been fighting for 10 years," Alisha told.

"I’ve always maintained a parallel music career outside the movies. In the movies, they think they’re doing me a favour. An average film star gets Rs.20 million, and a playback singer gets Rs.20,000 to 25,000. Even when a song like ’Kajra re’ becomes a runaway hit, I don’t benefit. We’re paid the pits."Music director Bappi Lahiri’s discovery, Alisha initially sang disco numbers in films like "Dance Dance", "Commando", "Guru" and "Love Love Love". In 1996, she gave the hit album "Made in India".

Nowadays Alisha demands and expects her price and says she is happy with the quantity of her work."Of course, a lot of producers settle for a mediocre voice. I’m quite happy singing my 10 songs a year. Singing less keeps my voice fresh."Last year she released another non-film album, and one of the tracks titled "Shut up and kiss me" created a stir.

Laughs Alisha: "It was a very audacious and upfront song. I’m glad people saw it with a sense of humour. It was sexy, but not raunchy. So there were no raised eyebrows."Years ago Alisha had created a controversy with the song "Sexy, sexy" for Karisma Kapoor in "Khuddar". The words had to be changed to appease the moralists.

Alisha is heavily into astrology."My astrologer had predicted that the end of my bad phase would start with ’Kajra re’. That song resurrected my career, thanks to Aishwarya Rai who looked awesome. To be honest, I enjoy the thought of singing for Aishwarya, Kareena Kapoor and Vidya Balan."I haven’t sung for Vidya, but I guess I soon will. I have sung only one song for Aishwarya. But look at the impact."

Shilpa Shetty was bitten by her dog

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty says , "These have been the worst four days of my life! I was in Dubai when I suffered congestion and was down with a bad bout of cough and cold. What’s worse was that after I went to Tirupati last week and stayed over at a friend’s place, I was bitten by her dog!"

Adds Shilpa "Fortunately, because it was a domestic animal, my doctor advised me against taking anti-rabies injections. Instead, I took antibiotics. The dog bite wasn’t so bad. His nails had scratched my leg and that had swollen up. It wasn’t an unfriendly dog, but I later heard that it was going through some hormonal changes."

Shilpa says her taking a double antibiotic dose one, for the dog bites and another for the chest congestion proved to be serious for her. "The strong antibiotics ruined my stomach lining and made me so weak that I had to be carried in a wheelchair from the airport on Wednesday evening when I returned from Dubai. Now I am having antacids. It was so embarrassing to be wheeled in.

Shilpa says that for the last few days she has been only on curd rice to soothe her stomach. "Last week, I’ve hardly been eating. I’ve been so sick that when I eat I feel like throwing up. If I don’t recover soon my doctors say I might have to get an endoscopy done. I shed 2 kgs in the process."Miseries come in droves and never alone.Shilpa Shetty realised this wordings.Shilpa adds that things got so bad that she couldn’t celebrate her birthday in Dubai. "But I just didn’t care. I felt as if I was dying. I am happy that my family was there with me on my birthday."

Shahid and Vidya the dance ‘Konnection’ sure seemed to be missing!

Bollywood new young beautiful couple Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan shares screen space in the movie "Kismat Konnection". Shahid Kapoor got a taste of Vidya Balan’s dancing skills while shooting for a promotional video at the Film City for their forthcoming ‘Kismat Konnection’. Though Vidya is a traditional dancer, she finds it difficult learning western steps. With as many as 47 retakes, no doubt choreographer Ahmed Khan was irked but Shahid asked him to keep his cool.

With Vidya in a plunging neckline and black leggings and Shahid in a pair of hot grey pants, satin shirt and a striking blue tie, the couple did look gorgeous. But though the couple is rumored to have developed intimate ‘Konnection’ while shooting for ‘Kismat Konnection’, the dance ‘Konnection’ sure seemed to be missing!
